Игарский краеведческий комплекс "Музей вечной мерзлоты"

Основная экспозиция музея расположена на глубине 7-14 метров в толще вечномерзлых грунтов. Общая площадь подземной части музея около 150 квадратных метров. Первоначально (с 1936 г.) на месте музея была научная мерзлотная лаборатория. Датой основания музея в подземной части считается 19 марта 1965 г., когда в одном из залов подземной научной лаборатории появилась первая экспозиция. В 1991 г. образовался краеведческий музей (с 1995 г. - Краеведческий комплекс) "Музей вечной мерзлоты". В 1995 г. подземная часть музея была объявлена Памятником природы краевого значения.
