waximoff
well, I'm using firefox, so when I click onto the link for the translated forum.....it works. But I am logged out. Whwn I log back in, I'm no longer in the translated forum.
mrsashko
i don't think there is a way aroud that Simply because when you log in -- forum automaticly redirects to the main forum page (forum.umora.biz) and when you use google -- google does not pick the coockies (that identifies you)Anyway, if you have any questions -- just ask me. Innamorati
Yes, the matter is in the cookies.I think, that the translator called Promt (http://promt.ru/) can help you. It integrates into Firefox and translates all on your local machine machine. One problem - it's not free(( P.S. I'm sorry for my not perfect English. waximoff
are there any other english portions of the main site?
mrsashko
The site Umora.biz -- you can view freely, with no registration required. And you can use Google translator there. The forum (forum.umora.biz) is unfortunatly all in russian, except for this thread.
Guest JoaoM
hi all. is it possible for non russian speaking users to change the default forum language to english? thanks...
taramtadra
I do understand russian and can read everything (correct font used),but I do not know how to type in russian, I use Dvorak layout for English, and a russian keyboard driver would not help me - my keyboard is hardwired for Dvork, and I assume that russian drivers are qwerty oriented?I could not find the necessary letters on the keyboard. I don't even know qwerty or whatever russian layout may be, and I have labels on keys only for dvork, even those are practically gone now, but I don't need them anyway. I don't want to copy and paste russian words letter-by-letter Is it ok to type russian words using latin letters? Something like: Mozhete li vy eto prochest? No kak sdielat miagkiy znak?Mozhet byt nado pisat y yesly "y" eto "yot" zvuk, togda nado pisaty nye nie no nyeNo eto vygliadit dovolno taki stranno.I nye dovolno, no dovolyno togda Perhaps there is some standard what latin letters and letter combinations to use for various russian letters or sounds?
