Компания Celebrity Cruises радует поклонников морских круизов с приходом в 2008 году первого лайнера новейшего класса SOLSTICE («Солнцестояние»). Один из самых больших в мире круизных лайнеров класса «Премиум», Celebrity Solstice, будет вмещать 2852 пассажиров, не считая экипажа, его водоизмещение 122 тыс.тонн. Стоимость проекта пятьсот миллионов евро. На пятнадцати пассажирских палубах расположатся каюты, всего 1426 – от недорогих внутренних площадью 55-61 кв м до свитов нового класса «АкваСпа» (площадь 75 кв м включая застекленную веранду), в числе прочего оборудованных так что Спа-процедуры можно заказывать прямо в номер. Также как и в свитах класса «Консьерж», здесь гостей ждут такие приятные мелочи как приветственная бутылка шампанского, свежие цветы и фрукты каждый день, сувениры: пляжная сумка, халат от Frette, возможность выбрать наполнение подушек в спальню и многое другое.

Инфраструктура развлечений и досуга на борту никому не позволит скучать во время круиза. К услугам гостей лайнера: рестораны с разнообразной кухней, восемь баров, в том числе икорные и суши-бары, винотека, целая палуба веллнеса с бассейнами, джакузи, фитнес-центром и роскошным аква-спа; Интернет-кафе, конференц-зал на 200 человек, детские клубы, аркада видео-игр, магазины, библиотека, галерея искусств, казино, салон для карточных игр, студия мастеров-стеклодувов и многое другое.

29 сентября док судоверфи Meyer в Папенбурге (Германия) покинул недавно построенный лайнер класса «премиум» под названием Celebrity Solstice, принадлежащий холдингу Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd (RCCL).

 

 

 

Лайнер Celebrity Solstice способен вместить до 2850 пассажиров при двухместном размещении, водоизмещение корабля составляет 122 тысяч тонн. Еще одним любопытным фактом является наличие на верхней палубе настоящего зеленого газона площадью свыше 2000 квадратных метров — то есть больше восьми теннисных кортов. Первый круиз состоится 14 декабря 2008 года и пройдет по восточным Карибским островам.

Самое большое в мире круизное судно Oasis of the Seas прибыло в Форт-Лодердейл из Финляндии, совершив свой первый трансатлантический рейс. Длина лайнера составляет 361 метр, ширина — 66 метров, водоизмещение судна — 225 тысяч тонн, оснащен 17 палубами. В 2704 каютах могут разместиться 6360 пассажиров, а экипаж составляет 2100 человек.

 

Лайнер Oasis of the Seas построен по заказу компании Royal Caribbean International на верфях STX Finland. На сегодняшний день это самый большой в мире круизный лайнер: по своим размерам он в 5 раз больше знаменитого «Титаника». На борту лайнера Oasis of the Seas фитнес-залы, SPA, театр, джаз-клуб, невероятных размеров бассейн и многое другое.

 

На 16 палубах лайнера расположены 2700 просторных кают, в том числе 30 кают категории loft (двухуровневые, площадью от 51 до 141 кв. м каждый) и 52 suites, а все пространство поделено на 7 тематических зон. На территории тропической зоны пассажиры могут увидеть пальмы и лианы, а всего в парках Oasis of the Seas представлены около 12,000 различных растений. Одна из зон под названием Central Park представляет собой площадь с бутиками, ресторанами и барами, причем один из баров занимает три уровня, позволяя посетителям заходить и выходить из него на разных палубах.

 

Из развлечений на борту Oasis of the Seas предусмотрены каток, небольшое гольф-поле, открытый амфитеатр на 750 мест, крытый театр на 1300 мест, 4 плавательных бассейна с 10-метровыми вышками и трамплинами, волейбольная и баскетбольная площадки, а также детская площадка, где юные пассажиры будут находиться под присмотром нянь.
