О фильме: «Царь горы» - один из популярных американских мультсериалов, завоевавший популярность во многих странах. Над ним работали Майк Джадж, автор знаменитого сериала про Бивиса и Баттхеда, и Грег Дэниэлс, принимавший участие в создании ранних сезонов «Симпсонов». В итоге «Царь горы» как раз представляет собой нечто среднее между этими двумя более нашумевшими мультфильмами. Юмор не столь груб и неполиткорректен, как в «Бивисе и Баттхеде», но и не так заразителен, как в «Симсонах». Однако сериал по-своему оригинален и привлекателен. В сезоне 1998-99 «Царь горы» получил премию «Эмми» как лучшая анимационная программа.
