Фотограф Трой Пайва, живущих в Сан-Франциско, с 1989 года странствует по Америке и снимает при свете звезд свалки, погибшие на дорогах города, оставленные навсегда у причала корабли, заброшенные заводы, военные аэродромы

Многие из этих мест и объектов, в его фотографиях, уже погребены бульдозерами, были сожжены, расплавлены на лом или просто исчезла под воздействием времени.

 

В 1998 году был открыт сайт с работами автора, а в 2003 выпущена книга «Lost America».
